For Immediate Release Sergeant Bill Lewis II (Retired) has announced his new web site TacticalDebriefs.com is now online. Bill retired from the Oxnard (CA) Police Department after almost 28 years of service with over 25 years assigned to SWAT. He is currently a regional representative for the California Association of Tactical Officers (CATO). TacticalDebriefs.com will attempt to provide timely debriefs of critical and significant incidents to law enforcement personnel with lessons learned related to planned or spontaneous tactical operations, high risk patrol encounters, K9 deployments, and specialty unit operations. Bill has been talking about and contemplating this concept of information sharing for many years and hopes this type of format will be successful. The success of this site will be determined and dependent upon its submissions and visits to view the respective debriefs. Although they are still awaiting a few debriefs to be initially submitted, tactical team members and other law enforcement personnel can go to the web site now and start the registration process. Once each registration is confirmed, registered members will be able to view the debriefs when they are posted as well as the other sections of the site currently accessible. This website was designed in partnership with B.F. Lewis, Web Design of Surprise, Arizona. #### |
